I Will Rise Again! I hope all you wonderful folks are well and I sincerely apologise for lack of updates and responses to your comments. I was thinking about how time poor I was the other day, as it was evident by looking in my shopping basket giant packet of Easy Mac, two kiwi fruit and a giant tub of yoghurt. However this was better than the 250kg fellow who was standing in the line in front of me, two boxes of tea and the rest of the basket was full of baked beans! So what have I been up to lately?
- I tried to purchase a Fiat 500 in January and then in March was told by Fiat Australia that they never submitted my order and wont order it due to the Australian dollar. Couldnt believe it! The price of doing International Business is accounting for the fluctuating dollar and it shouldnt be used as an excuse. Understandably pulled my order and will be looking at a different car.
- My Mother and little brother went to China and Korea for two weeks and really enjoyed themselves. I mentioned before the trip I would love a new red polo and my little brother is such so sweet and hunted the whole trip. Drove our Mother a bit batty though with all the chatter.
- After being left alone for two weeks by my family, I also took a holiday with Marty to Northern NSW. We had a lovely week visiting family, friends and my favourite afternoon was visiting
Villa dEsta and drinking wine under the blue sky. I also spent time reading about how to construct compost
Mart says this something only I would do on a holiday.
- Masters is going well. I am really enjoying my studies and most of peers are intelligent and committed. There is one kid that loves the sound of her own voice on Monday night and just makes me want to punch her in the face. She never adds anything to the conversation.
- Yesterday I attended the wedding of a dear friend from school. She looked so beautiful, radiated happiness and being fed so well at the reception I went home in a small food coma. Mind you that hasnt stopped me eating a chocolate brownie for breakfast! Breakfast of champions!
- Miss Baci has had an interesting few months. After being attacked by an off lead dog a quarter of her size she began to fret even more about anything small. We have been working with a lovely behaviourist called Jane Harper and have been making quite a bit of progress. Recently purchased some of these
treats for my spoilt brat.
I cant think of anything else exciting to report but will be back when I have something exciting to fill you all in on. Until then, eat crumpet toast or something.
